Nana and Papa's

We are trying to take advantage of all the time we have to spend with Eric's family.  One of our favorite places to go is Nana and Papa's home. That place has definitely been outfitted for kids, especially babies.  I love how Gabriel is able to just crawl around and find plenty to keep him occupied, with toys and toys galore.

My in-laws are such wonderful examples to me of having their priorities straight; primarily by putting family first.  Just walking in their home you can tell that there have been grandchildren running around making lots of fun memories.    By the front door sits a large cubby compartment where every child can place their shoes so as not to lose them as they embark on another adventure at Nana's.  The extremely large TV caters to many children TV shows, movies and even interactive games.  There is a bookshelf stocked full of children's stories.   A room is dedicated solely to children's toys and is the ultimate playroom.  They even completely re-did their backyard so as to build a huge jungle gym where the kids can go outside and play practically year-round. Their home is one where the grandkids love to come and play.

Not only have my in-laws created a home that is child friendly, my mother-in-law is such a shining example to me of giving selflessly and putting her family1st in life.  There isn't a single day that goes by where she isn't at one of her children's homes helping out, doing projects, or just babysitting.  If ever she does get a free moment to herself, 9 times out of 10 she will contact one of the kids and see if they need help in any way, shape or form.  She is willing to bend over backwards just to help any one of us out.  And when she isn't at someone's home helping, she is probably at home working on a project for one of us girls or the grandkids.  Even this summer she did a Nana School program 1 x a week for the older grandkids to come over and spend time together.  I heard from every one of my sister-in-laws that Nana School day was their favorite day of the week.  What an awesome thing to hear!

So, we love to go over to Nana and Papa's home. Here are some fun pictures with them.
