Playing at Nanas

We went over to Jan and Steve's house quite a bit during June.  In fact, Gabriel spent the majority of Mikaela's 1st two weeks of life at Nana's so that I could focus on her alone.  While over there he became high chair buddies with his cousin Joshua.



It was actually really cute later one because Joshua knew that Gabriel was his high chair buddy.  So when we came in the door one time with Gabriel while Joshua was sitting in the high chair, Joshua starts patting the other high chair looking directly at Gabriel as if to say "Hey, I saved you a spot!". 

Another time we put Gabriel in the high chair to eat dinner.  Joshua grabs the other high chair, drags it to where we have Gabriel in his high chair, and then starts to climb into it.  I think that these two will be best buds.



Now if only Gabriel can learn how to defend himself from Joshua's wrestling antics.  Joshua's older brothers (Connie's boys: Luke and Seth) have taught him the art of body slamming.  Poor Gabriel doesn't stand a chance (literally hahahaha) when Joshua tries to play horsey or gets him in a headlock.  If only Gabriel knew how to stand on his own... all he would need to do would be just sit Joshua... I mean he has like 3-4 pounds on him.  Ah well, he will be walking around all too soon.  He has already progressed to crawling on furniture.

No matter what is going on, playing at Nanas seems to be one of the favorites for not just Gabriel, but all cousins.  We are going to make the most of it.
